Everyone, no matter what kind of job he or she has, fantasizes about freaking out at work. How many corporate drones, stuck in a boring staff meeting, have had the sudden urge to jump on top of the conference table and start screaming obscenities? Strip off their clothes? Kiss the woman or man next to them? We all have. How many employees joke about shooting the boss or blowing the place up? I’m not suggesting we do any of these things, mind you, but let’s not kid ourselves; we all have a little murder in our heart.

culturalcenterphilippines:

SEE more than 80 exciting shows at the Cultural Center of the Philippines as the CCP Resident Companies lead more than 2,000 artists in performing excerpts of upcoming shows at Pasinaya 2011: CCP Open House Festival on Sunday, February 6, 2011 from 8:00am to 7:00pm. Dubbed as the biggest one-day performing arts festival, Pasinaya 2011 is the opening salvo of the National Arts Month in February. The event will be held in all venues of the CCP including the Front Lawn, the Promenade areas and the alley in front of the Production Design Center. Highlights include a street dance spectacle featuring the grand champion of the Sinulog Festival and other performances.

CCP Resident Companies regale audiences with snippets of their performance seasons in the Resident Company zone. Featured are Ballet Philippines, Bayanihan Philippine National Folk Dance Company, National Music Competitions for Young Artists, Philippine Ballet Theater, Philippine Madrigal Singers, Philippine Philharmonic Orchestra, Ramon Obusan Folkloric Group, Tanghalang Pilipino and the University of Santo Tomas Symphony Orchestra.
